The test was repeated on 10.10.36. and although the previous conditions were duplicated no misfires occurred, the engine accelerating away perfectly.

Conclusions.

This car is run under exceptional conditions for a Bentley, apparently the owner and chauffeur never exceed 30 M.P.H. all the week, the sparking plugs therefore never really get cleaned by a turn of speed, with the exception of the week-end run when usually the trouble occurs.

Although no trouble was experienced on Saturday last, we fitted 6 new AC.X.399 sparking plugs, these have sinterkorund centres, and are the best we know at the moment for use with lead fuels.

This particular car does so much town work that it would be advantageous to fit the small induction pipe and carburetters, so giving the owner the best distribution for his running conditions.

We shall not do this, however, until we get some further complaint.
