Re: CHASSIS B.174.GP - Mr. MASUREL

We have tightened up the bearings of this car and fitted RR.56 liners to the mains and big-ends.

Please find attached our "Report upon Sinkage of Bearings and alteration to liners".

We found the main bearings to be scored as we have found most of them to be.

The surface of the big-end bearings was O.K.

We carried out an oil test after effecting the above work. This was satisfactory.
