WRAITH RADIATORS. Confirming our discussion of yesterday, you will release the 100 sets of Radiator parts for Wraith with the following modifications. (1) Shell head plate and front plate in 16 S.W.G. Staybrite instead of 18 S.W.G. This is to save a large amount of hand work which is at present necessary in order to get these plates reasonably flat. (2) Filler cap similar to Exs.126 but with larger diameter of knurled portion in order to give better finger grip. (3) Filler cap washer in copper asbestos - to Exs.35. We would like the calorstat covers and the calorstats for the radiator (these are standard Ph.III at the moment) to be held up as there is a possibility that we may alter these. We hope to have completed sufficient testing on our latest filler cap scheme, i.e. moulded cap with rubber washer etc. to change over to this scheme after the first 100 cars and also to use this scheme on B.III, E.50 and Ph.III.
