Lewis / Mr Valentine}29.8.38. Re: BENTLEY INSTRUCTION BOOKS. Referring to our NW.{N. Walker - Patents}1/VL.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine}12.5.38; we wish to correct our statement with reference to the leaflets necessary in the No.V (Revised Edition). Contrary to what we said, leaflet No.21/B is not required in this book. A new leaflet, however, is necessary for certain chassis as follows :- No. 27/B - Engine Oil Pressure and Relief Valve, for the 131st chassis in G Series to the end of J Series, (from B-1 - GP to B-203 - JY). As mentioned in the previous memo referred to, it has not been considered necessary to circulate the No.V (Revised Edition) but we think it advisable that you should be aware of this correction. We also enclose a copy of leaflet No. 28/B - "Tyre Size and Pressures" which is to be inserted in either the No.V or the No. V (Revised Edition) for chassis which have been fitted with 6.50 tyres prior to their introduction as standard, namely :- B-31-LE B-37-LE B-39-LE B-41-LE B-79-LE B-111-LE B-119-LE B-121-LE B-123-LE B-129-LE B-196-LS B-25-LE B-171-LE B-144-LS To Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}, Sr. and JLE.{J.
