SEQUENCE STARTER MAIN AND AUXILIARY SWITCH

We have tested three of these units and as a result we suggest the following modifications:-

(1) The switch armature bearing pins could be of larger diameter making better bearing surface and more accurate adjustment.

(2) The gap between the main switch armature stop and core when the coppers are just making contact could be larger to allow the laminations of the copper contact to exert a greater pressure on the plate.

(3) The full on position of the auxiliary switch to occur after the main switch, i.e. there should be a clearance between the main armature operating side arm and the bakelite plate on the top of the auxiliary switch when both switches are in the full on position.

(4) The cover to be a bakelite moulding.

______ HEW.

BY/RD, seen re (1) and (4) which will be done in due course.

(2) and (3) are provided for in gap alterations.
