PLEASE REFER TO COMPETITIONS DEPT. AND QUOTE REFERENCE RGM/MSR. IN YOUR REPLY 12th May 1936 Messrs. Rolls Royce Limited, Nightingale Road, DERBY. Gentlemen, We are in receipt of your confirmatory order No.16582 dated 11th instant covering 24 type 827 sparking plugs for which we thank you. These plugs were despatched on the 23rd March, our invoice B.45672. You will note from this invoice we agreed to pass a credit upon return of the plugs. This should have read "whether new or used." As the plugs are being supplied to Mr. E.R.Hall for racing purposes, we have an arrangement with him to accept back for credit all racing plugs whether they have been used or not.
