Re Action of "Shell" Anti-Freezing Compound on Rubber Connections

After soaking some of the connections in the above compound at about 100°C for a fortnight, (cold at night) we found on examination that the rubber had softened somewhat. We would prefer them to remain in the solution for a rather longer period, and will let you have a final report later on.
