X.2894. TUNGSTEN CONTACT POINTS.
X.4357. BONE GREY FIBRE RUBBING BLOCK.

We note from your RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}1/LS24.7.24. that the distributor fitted with contact breaker lever fitted with tungsten points and bone grey fibre has been transferred from 6-GII to 7-GII. We do not know the reason for this and it is unfortunate that it should have beem necessary, as it upsets our records, particularly as our record shows that 7-GII is fitted with a distributor with wick lubricated cam. We should like to know what has happened to this other distributor from 7-GII.

It would be more advantageous to us if, when such a change is being made desirable from other points of view, you could previously inform us so that an instruction to the effect would come through from us and so keep our records in order.

To put these right at the moment, we should be glad if you would let us know the position to date.

EFC.
