of which we have designs nearly completed could be tried out, with a view to being very thoroughly tested before being considered for production.

In view of the Wraith banjo axle involving new problems which may delay development we are in agreement with a proposal to start off the first Wraith chassis with the 25/30 rear axle, but this should be modified to take the Wraith brake gear which is cheaper, simpler and lighter than what is on the axle at present.

We anticipate shortly having in our possession the production cost figures for both types of axle* and these should materially assist in arriving at a decision on the policy to be followed.
