X500a HOTEL DE FRANCE. CHATEAUROUX. Indre. France. GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/4/JAB. 6th May 1936 To. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From. G.W.H. [Signature: GRX] We have arranged to meet Mr. Monestier at Lyons on Thursday night to go down to Mount Ventoux with the two cars. He informs us that there is still snow at the top and therefore we shall not be able to get within 3 or 4 kilometres off the summit. This however will be verified when we get there. We expect to be away from Châteauroux for about 3 or 4 days. ---------- [Signature: G.W.Hancock] G.W.H. | ||
