Clutch Tests.

Thank you for your memo and kind advice as to what extent the clutch should be tested. The actual conditions we reported occurred after 12 minutes driving in and out of the garage in 2nd and reverse gears, going over the step in the doorway as slowly and gently as possible.

We will not overheat our clutch deliberately any more, but continue with our regular daily road tests of this feature which have never made it anything like as hot as the test referred to above.
