W/S - Lp.{Mr Lappin} X1775 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}11/KW.22.2.34. C.U.A.S. DINNER. Nobody from Derby seems to have any desire to attend this function; nor do I feel sufficiently unselfish to drive the 200 miles for the pleasure of meeting you in Cambridge. I am afraid therefore that unless you provide me with a Chauffeur in Derby you will have to forego the pleasure of selling a few engines. Can you let us know how many miles your Car has done since 30.11.33, as we are trying to get a record of miles run on Aerolite pistons. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Grylls. | ||
