Dear Fowler Clark, It has occurred to me that a considerable simplification which would have many advantages might be made if you could incorporate the red light into some other piece of apparatus instead of having it a separate unit with its separate wires, all requiring separate fitting and on its own. For example, if the little lamp could go in the middle of the thermometer instrument or up at the top of the main switch instrument that you make. Have you ever considered this?
