DETAILS

The Secretary,
Appointments Board,
Cambridge University,
Cambridge.

Dear Sir,

We thank you for your letter of the 18th. inst.

We think it improbable that Mr. R.{Sir Henry Royce} P. Hubbersty will meet our requirements, because, apart from the fact that he has not an Honours Degree, he does not appear to have had any previous experience with an Automobile Firm.

However, we are willing to interview him if he considers it worth his while to come to Derby, although we endeavour to prevent applicants travelling any distance when their prospects of obtaining the appointment appear to be remote.

Should you know of anyone who has an Honours Degree coupled with some practical knowledge of motorcar design and manufacture, we should be glad to hear from you.

Yours faithfully,
