Dear Sirs,
ORDER NO. 57803.
With reference to the four assemblies to your Drawing No. S.497, we find it impracticable to assemble these as it is not possible to produce the spun out end of bellows greater than the outside diameter of the convolutions.
We enclose a sketch showing the method of assembly we propose, which entails a modification to your Part EX.S.493.
We shall be glad to hear whether you will be agreeable to our proceeding accordingly, and if so whether we may modify this part, or if you prefer us to return it to you for the necessary work.
We understand that delivery of these assemblies is urgent, and shall be glad to have an answer by return.
Yours truly,
THE PACKLESS GLAND CO. LTD.
W. Lund.
Commercial Manager.
