H3 X8250 To BJ. Copy to R.{Sir Henry Royce}, BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} C. Improvements to present Phantom. With reference to BJ20/E11/11/27, I mentioned that we should particularly like the side of the radiator to be sloped in line with the bonnet in the same way as is arranged on the 20 HP and asked if this could be arranged. I do not wish this to be taken as a definite decision but should be glad if a sample of the latest radiator could be produced on which we could see the effect of the sloping side as compared with having the side straight as is at present standard. It is always difficult to visualize the effect of such a change without actually seeing the finished product. Perhaps a wooden mock-up could be prepared. BJ. | ||
