Fitting instructions for Rolls Royce Axle Fittings.
-------------------------

Front Axle Fittings.

Very effective fittings for Rolls Royce cars have been specially designed by Mr. Rapson and they are quite easy of attachment.

Messrs. Rolls Royce supply on either side of their front axle a steering stop, which is secured to the axle by means of two bolts. These two bolts should be removed and in their place the studs from the Rapson axle fitting should be inserted and a nut screwed on from the rear.

We guarantee this does not interfere in any way with the steering clearances arranged by Messrs. Rolls Royce.

Rear Axle Fittings.

On the rear axle it is necessary only to assemble the two half clips immediately beneath the spring roller and to secure them by means of the two bolts and nuts at either end.

It will be noticed that the rear of one half clip has a securing lock screw. After the two half clips have been positioned and secured, to prevent the clips creeping, the locking screw should be tightened with a spanner, just sufficient to ensure the nose biting into the axle casing.
