Dear Sirs,

We have your letter of the 9th inst to hand with regard to ignition accumulators.

We note that in the event of your changing your present source of supply you are thinking of adopting quite a different type of cell. You are no doubt referring to a battery of the Edison type, such being the case we would inform you that we are not in a position to supply these.

Possibly so far as ignition accumulators are concerned these may prove a success. Of course so far as lighting is concerned we have proved these to be entirely unsuitable.

If you should consider the question and again be in the market for accumulators of the ordinary type we trust you will give us an opportunity of quoting you.

Yours faithfully,

C.A.Vandervell & Co.
