TO DY.{F R Danby} FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} SECRET. E1/M6. 6. 24. Copy to Mr. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A.{Mr Adams} C. Y9090 X7060 (struck through) VALVE LIFT CURVES WITH LOWER LIFT. We send you herewith drawings Nos. LeC. 1880. 1881. and 1882. dealing with the above. The first named deals with the geometry of the rocker, and shews that a cam lift of .325 will give us a valve lift of .423. These are the dimensions we wish to work to using the existing valves, rockers, and springs. Would you kindly instruct the necessary formen to be prepared for these cam curves.
