R.R. 255a (100 T) (S.H. 159. 11-8-20) G. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2200 X4202 Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} By6/P17.11.20. X.4173. X.295. X.4202. We would like to know definitely whether it is seriously considered that we shall modify the wiring by introducing the Rolls-Royce Switchbox and Junction Box at the commencement of "P" Series, that is, chassis 2001, because if so there will be a number of die castings etc. which should be put in hand without delay. In addition to the above, which deals with the wiring only, there is a further question of whether we are likely to adopt the Smith dynamo at the same time. When the new type wiring is brought in I understand it is proposed to use the switch for the Klaxon carried on the steering wheel. We would like to have some information as to this particular point at the same time as the above. A short report covering the whole of the items would enable us to clearly understand the position and issue instructions accordingly. By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
