March 27th.1931.

Messrs. British Belting & Asbestos, Ltd.,
59, Southwark Street,
LONDON.S.E.1.

For the attention of Mr. E.D.Dalmaine.

Dear Sir,

Further to our conversation of the 2nd. inst., we send you herewith a list of the brake linings that we require. We presume that you will supply these free of charge.

We have asked for the minimum amount of lining that we require to prove out your claim.

With reference to the servo lining. We find that this works under a unit pressure of about 100 lbs/sq.in. for heavy brake application. If you think that your new lining will work satisfactorily under these conditions we would ask you to let us have two sets.

We are also sending a requisition for these linings through the usual channels.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
