When the N.S.R. spring centre bolt failed, the steering effect of the rear axle as it slid along the spring with alternate braking and acceleration, was very marked. Ever since fitting the new centre bolt, the car has tended to pull slightly to the right all the time. We think this is due to the rubber in the dowel having been chewed up when the centre bolt failed, so that the axle is no longer correctly located on the spring. Will you therefore, please send two new top rubbers for the rear spring mountings, so that we can verify this. posted 3/11/38. ----------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW{Ivan M.
