Dear Sirs, With reference to a visit of your Mr. Grylls to our Works yesterday, we would confirm that you will send us an arrangement drawing from which we can see whether our new hand pump for Jacks can be fitted to your existing brackets. We also have pleasure in enclosing copies of our drawings Nos. FJ.337/2 and 338/2, and FJ.339/2 Bracket, FJ.336/2 Assembly, FJ.340/4 Clip, showing front and rear Jack brackets respectively, and we are arranging to send you two castings of the rear brackets, so that you can machine these for your own purpose. With regard to the fitting of the sample set of Jacks which are now being sent over to you, we gather that you are endeavouring to utilise the pipe already existing in the frame work on your test vehicle, and that if this is not suitable you will ask us to send one of our Installation Engineers. On thinking this matter over, however, we consider it would be advisable for our man to visit you with a view to carrying out this piping, particularly as we are feeding each Jack separately, and not in pairs, on each axle.
