-2- HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GR.{George Ratcliffe}9/KW.27.5.35. Owing to the fact that this American carb. has an integral cast choke of 1.5/16" dia., it was found impossible to reduce. By reducing the choke diameter, this fault would probably be cured, as the depression at the main diffuser tube would be increased slightly at the low speeds, thus drawing the main into action earlier.
