For the attention of Mr. C. S. Steadman.
Dear Sirs,
We thank you for your letter of the 15th inst., and note that you have now tested the Experimental Matrix which we supplied to you.
We note further that the heat dissipated per unit matrix volume is equal to the Marston Mk.VI block which you are fitting at present, but that, on a weight basis, it is inferior.
As no doubt you will remember, we shall shortly be in a position to supply this block baked, instead of dipped, and we estimate that the reduction in weight of the baked block will be 5 1/2 to 6 lbs. We hope that this reduction in weight will enable the block to compare favourably with the one which you are fitting at present.
We note that you are forwarding drawings in order that we may quote you for a complete Bentley radiator, but would like to know if you will be returning the sample matrix to us for building into this radiator? We shall be pleased to let you have our quotation as soon as we receive your final drawings.
Yours faithfully,
SERCK RADIATORS LIMITED,
