To suit front wheel brakes. Drawing No. Part List Experimental Test Report. The front springs are made by Firths - they are 43 1/4" long. The Spring is anchored at the rear end and shackled in front. Front springs 25% stiffer than present standard. Road Test Report. Run 10,000 miles in France on 98-NK. Run 4500 miles in France on 9-PK. Run on 35-PK, 92-NK, and 46-PK in England a total of 6700 miles - no trouble and no spring failures. Run 250 hours on bumping tests - results better than standard.
