RE CUTOUT CONTACT POINTS.

Judging from the results of observations on the three cutouts which we have fitted with narrowed down springs carrying the moving contact points, it appears, in spite of what we previously decided, that it would be definitely advantageous to make the supporting column of the fixed contact point quite rigid.

We would like By {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD. to look into this to see how it could be effected at little extra cost.

It would be a small change which we think Byl would agree might be carried out without the necessity of a standardisation sheet.
