RE X.2219 - HAND STARTING MAGNETO.

We give below an extract from one of Mr Royce's memos and shall be glad if you will arrange accordingly, under the above X number:-

"Referring to the hand magneto getting filled up with oil, this seems entirely a simple failure that should be put right without much brain fag; there is already shewn two drain holes:-

1. See that these exist.
2. Make them larger because the only oil that can get into the magneto must come through viz:-

Three contracted areas shown .005" clear, so surely we can let out what passes three restrictions in series - if still any trouble fit felt in one."
