This is confirmed by Messrs. Dunlops' experience.

On experimental cars we have not found the low pressure tyres any more liable to puncture. We have found however that if the car is run with the tyre flat only a very short distance, the tube is destroyed.

From our experience to date, we should say that we are likely to get slightly less mileage with the low pressure tyres - somewhere in the region of 10% .

We have got to remember that in fitting 6.75" tyres we are not introducing a novelty: these have been standard on Daimlers and the 6-cyl. Bently and several other cars for a considerable time.
