With reference to the attached letter from the Intava Corporation. We visited Tweedie recently in connection with the petrol injection job and whilst up there discussed various characteristics of the various grades of E.P. oil which we have tried with him. Attached is a copy of some information which we have given him.

Mr. Tweedie stated it had now been agreed that there was no objection whatever to having a separate lubrication system for the gear and using any degree of E.P. oil in the gear case which the functioning of this unit would permit. He said that the only thing that was holding the matter up with regard to Rolls-Royce was that certain of their designers did not think much of the scheme. This astonished us and we are asking him to confirm it in writing.

I am sending the barrels of oil over to S.Orme and should be glad if you would take up the matter of the testing with Lovsey.
