| Peterborough 2370. The Grange, Orton Longueville, nr. Peterborough. 13th July, 1934. E.W. Hives, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. Hives: Just a line to make it quite clear - if it be necessary - that my reference to overcoming the judder in my brakes which I made in my letter to you of the 11th July, was not intended to be any reflection upon your Service Department: the car has been there twice for this trouble, but upon each occasion Mr. Clarke has told me that he has been far from satisfied and has asked for it to be left for a little while longer, but my arrangements to be away with the car have prevented this. Yours very truly, S.S. Howse. | ||
