For the attention of -. Grylls Esq:

Dear Sirs,

BEVEL PINION BALL BEARING
YOUR PART NO. ZB.1442.

With reference to the above, and the recent visit of our Technical Manager (Works) Mr. Hickling, we have pleasure in forwarding under separate cover for your attention, six of these bearings, it being noted that these are identical with previous bearings supplied, with the exception that the cage is made of our standard chrome steel in the soft state, instead of duralumin.

We were interested to note the results obtained with the duralumin cage bearings, which were shewn to Mr. Hickling during his visit, and with regard to the position in general, we agree that even though the steel cage may result in excessive wear, this will be more satisfactory than actual fracture of the cage, and we await with interest the results which are obtained.

Yours faithfully,
RANSOME & MARLES BEARING CO. LTD.

MANAGING DIRECTOR.

Under separate cover:
Six bearings 4/MDJT.30.
