With regard to the track of the 10 HP cars, I can find several different tracks on the early pattern appearing by several inches both on front & rear wheels, & in some cases the front & rear wheel tracks were not alike.
The old arrg. dwgs. show 48/j but the figures on the tracings appear to have been scratched out & altered several times.
I therefore suggest that it would be best to leave the bodying of the jaws on to the old tubes till we get hold of the cars, & that they can be made to suit.
Some of the old axle tubes are 1 1/2" dia & others are 1 3/4". I suggest that the 1 1/2" tubes should be replaced by 1 3/4", as the smaller tubes have bent on several occasions.
