Contd. -2- There is one satisfaction, however, that in all R.R. cars so far turned out, it is possible to prime them and turn them round without the ignition current being switched on, and afterwards start them on theswitch. So that if an owner or chauffeur will take the trouble they can, with our cars, avoid risk of backfire, but naturally one does not take this care, and the only solution of avoiding the risk is to fit a self starter.
