Harrison Radiator Corporation,
Lockport,
New York,
U.S.A.

Dear Sirs,

As you are probably aware, we have recently tried out experimentally your Harrison Vee bonded core radiator matrix block in several sizes and thicknesses. The results of these tests have, broadly speaking, shewn the Harrison Vee block to be considerably more efficient than any other available type of matrix which we have tested.

We were hoping to be able to obtain supplies from John Marston Ltd, of Wolverhampton (branch of I.C.I.) but we understand that there is now no prospect of this firm manufacturing it. Later we heard that Vauxhall Motors Ltd, were going to manufacture it in this country, but upon enquiry it appears that there is a possibility of their doing so for their own use only and at some considerable time hence.

The position as far as we are concerned is that we know of a good article and wish to use it, but unfortunately we cannot obtain supplies manufactured in this country, and of course we cannot buy from U.S.A.

We should be extremely obliged if you could give us any first hand information on this subject, all our present knowledge, from which the above has been gleaned is very vague and uncertain.

The idea has been suggested that we ourselves might produce them for our own requirements. We do not know how possible this is and should be glad to hear from you on this point.

The thicknesses we are interested in are, 58 mm, 70 mm, 84 mm, and 104 mm, if there is no difficulty about our producing them ourselves we should like to know the cost of the plant necessary; in this connection we are
