F.J.H. 1245 Please shew me this when it arrives To "Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}" Works Levallois Sr/VA5/MLG.1.4.40 Re-Chassis WHC-3-Mr.Percy Rose MILEAGE. 3,500 MILES. The above owner recently took his car to our Nice Depot with a complaint that each time the steering was turned it produced a craking noise. De Boeck of Nice Depot discovered that there was excessive play in the o/s pivot and upon dismantling the o/s pivot and bushes etc. found the cause of the trouble to be due to the failure of the GW-1807 (outer (top) race).
