ENGLISH TRANSLATION. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}1/BM/15824. 15th August, 1924. Albert Schmidt, Esq: 29, Quai du Mont Blanc, Geneva, SWITZERLAND. Dear Sir, Re: Water Boiling Troubles. Referring to your letter of the 14th July, you have doubtless heard of the complaint made by Mr. Reverdin, Owner of 20 HP. Car No. 69/H/5. We have arranged to send out a Derby Expert to investigate this complaint and have telegraphed to Mr. Reverdin today asking if it will be convenient for our man to arrive early next week. We will arrange for our official to call on you and shall be glad if you can arrange to give him an opportunity of trying any other Rolls-Royce Cars in your district which are suffering from water boiling and also, if possible, to arrange for him to try other makes of Cars with a view to ascertaining why Rolls-Royce Cars suffer from a trouble which other Cars are free from when driven under similar conditions. We should be grateful of any assistance you can give us in regard to this matter. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE, LIMITED. EXPORT MANAGER. | ||
