To Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c.to JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}4/BA.1.1.40. Bentley 60. -------- Crankshaft and Damper. -------- With further reference to our memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} / 12.39. asking you to produce a detail drawing combining the 2.75" journal crank and the Humber damper. This is to confirm that this arrangement should bring the belt drive for the auxiliaries in line with B.80. This means, therefore, that the Crankshaft EB.4685, should incorporate the nose shewn on EB.3867, this will complete the crank drawing. Further to this, new pulleys are required to take the B.80 belt, and B.80 pump is to be adapted, to accommodate the fan. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} | ||
