Maximum advanced speed:- 4,500 r.p.m. Low speed sparking:- Advance 60 r.p.m. Central 95 r.p.m. Retard 185 r.p.m. Noise Remarks. Practically noiseless at low speeds, slight bearing noise at high speeds. Design Remarks. Duralmin contact breaker lever reducing moment of inertia and consequently impact noise of the lever. Bakelite distributor wheel drilled for lightening purposes to reduce gear noise due to magnetic impulses. EFC/HEW. | ||
