ATTENTION MR.LESLIE.

Dear Sirs,

Following our conversation this afternoon, we have carefully examined the prices quoted for Silentbloc anti-vibration Mountings types SE.11334 and PE.10625.

We agree that these prices are high, but, as we pointed out, the shapes of the flanges were different from our standard, necessitating special tools, and, in addition the quantities were not high.

Now that you have given us a considerably higher figure on which to base our estimate we are able to make a substantial reduction. For 2000 Silentbloc anti-vibration Mountings of the medium deflection type having a standard triangular flange, with three pierced holes, we can quote a figure of 1/8d.each.net, and this price is the same for either the "PE" or "SE" types.

Your drawing shows a special shaped flange, and the limits shown for the holes are too close to allow for piercing, consequently, these must be jigged drilled, and the extra cost for this operation will be ½d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} per hole.
