W/S. {Derby Works / Sales} C. from Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1280 Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 4/R.14.11.36. CLEVELAND DISCOL FUEL. We shall very shortly be having a switch to the car which will enable the customer to check each half of his petrol pump in turn. Furthermore, we have arranged that the petrol pump shall be much more easily detachable. We recommend that if a customer wants to run on Discol, both these modifications should be fitted on his car and he should carry a spare petrol pump, because we cannot guarantee the pumps on Discol. If he is willing to do this we see no reason at all why the fuel may not be used. We are devloping some carburetter needles which can be supplied to the customer on request, in order that he can get the best performance out of Discol. Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
