To R.{Sir Henry Royce} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to Sg.{Arthur F. X7005 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} 2/KT.18. 4. 31. X.634. X.7005. We have about 1/2 doz. customers who have complained bitterly about booms, that we must do something at once to help them. If we remove their rear engine feet and modify their column support it is certain that their main complaint will be overcome for the time being at any rate, and when we have found a better cure it can be applied. We are not doing anything to the car which will prevent them being put back to the standard condition if at any time this is found to be desirable.
