Dear Mr. Robotham,

Thank you for your letter of the 23rd instant, following upon the talk I had with Mr. Hives the other day.

I shall be very happy to come up to Derby and I note you suggest the third week in August. As I happen to be leaving for my holiday on the 20th August, it would suit me better, if equally convenient to you, that I should come up the second week in August, say about the 12th. Perhaps you would kindly advise me.
