| X3701 Micro-Examination Report. M518. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Mr.Robotham. H12/EA28.2.27. Laboratory. Re Carburetter Filter Gauges. (Your Ref. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/LG23.2.27.) As requested, we have taken photomicrographs of a standard gauze, fluff extracted from a choked jet, and grit, etc., passed by the Zenith and Auto-Klean filters. These are marked as follows :- A514 - Fluff extracted from carburetter jet. A515 - Standard gauze filter, showing variation in size of aperture. A516 - Foreign matter passed by Zenith filter. A517 - Foreign matter passed by Auto-Klean filter. All of the photomicrographs were taken at a magnification of 10 diameters from specimens received from you and we send 40 copies of these photomicrographs (10 of each) herewith.
