Dear Mr Robotham,

I have delayed for some time the reply to your letter dated 26th May since I had a particular project in mind which required some investigation.

At the present time we have no particular use for the Merlin engine you describe but I am sending your letter to the R.D.M.C. Department, Air Ministry in case they may be interested.

Thankyou very much for bringing this engine to my attention.

Yours truly,

G S Selman.
