Contd. -2- EFC5/T16.11.22. (1) That the load current is made to circulate round the thick wire coil. (2) That the main operating coil does not now include as part of itself the few series turns. It would appear that the arrangement is an undoubted improvement and will overcome the tendency to stick on the top contact previously reported. It is suggested that we obtain an up-to-date Bosch set (of size suitable for Goshawk) comprising the essential items such as:- (a) Dynamo, together with regulator and cutout units. (b) Starter motor, together with automatic engagement unit. (c) Switchbox incorporating also starter push button. With these three units we should be able to examine the operation of the whole system, including the special details of interconnection. EFC. | ||
