Messrs. Ferodo Ltd.,
Sovereign Mills,
Chapel-en-le-Frith.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Field.

We thank you for the special anti-squeaking brake linings for our 40/50 HP. and 20 HP. cars which we have now received.

As a matter of interest, could you let us know the approximate co-efficient of friction of these materials compared with our standard materials. The reason we wish to know this is so that we can adjust our braking power to suit the altered conditions.

We should also like to know whether you can give us any indication of the wearing qualities we may expect from these materials.

We are particularly anxious to obtain the moulded clutch plates for the 40/50 HP. and should be much indebted to you if you could expedite these in every way possible.

Yours faithfully,
