STEERING COLUMN.

The Corniche steering column remains on the car until the Wilmot Breeden steering wheel is finalised, which will enable Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} to produce a scheme of controls.

The new length of pendulum lever will be 6.050, and will not be used until the new column is fitted.

SIDE STEERING TUBE.

No Thompson side steering tube joints should be used.

PETROL TANK.

Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} promised to issue the scheme for the rationalised petrol tank before Easter, which should give RH.{R. Hollingworth} a good chance to have it ready for the chassis when it arrives from the coachbuilders.

Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} will tell RH.{R. Hollingworth} what material to order on Monday.

This petrol tank will not have a filler of the Cresta type, but a filler under the wing as fitted to 8.B.V.

PEDALS.

Pedals will finally be to GOD.1500, the details for which are now being completed. These go with the new gearbox.

DASHBOARD.

There was some dispute about the coil mounting on the dash. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CPS. said that information relating to this would be found in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CPS.11/ML.18.3.40.

PETROL PIPING.

The filter on the tank and the electrical pump will both be deleted, a straight pipe being run from the tank to the frame opposite the mechanical petrol pump and jumping from there to the pump with a flexible pipe.

There will be no filter on the carburetter, the only filter in the system being that on the A.C. petrol pump.

The connection between the A.C. petrol pump and the carburetter will be by Bundy tubing.

Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} will get out a scheme for the pipe from where it leaves the frame to the carburetter.

Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
