This front engine mounting is remarkably neat and light, and I have come to the conclusion that serious changes in it are perhaps not desirable, and that it will be much better to remove the cause of the trouble than resist the undesirable forces which exist at present and must be reduced for other reasons. I suggest we make it of thicker steel or even the parts most liable to flex of drop forgings if the heavier gauge pressings are still too flexible. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
