Description of Parts.
Improved type water pump with improved type locking device for drain cock.
Origin. Lightening of pump & improvement & simplification of drainage scheme.
Experimental Test Report. EFC15/T28817.
"This expt. has been tested on Eagle "E" Exptl. engine and consists of a pump with four bolt flange in place of a two bolt flange (also drain cock with locking device reptd. under X.3064) The pump was satisfactory on test. The alteration was to prevent the ears on the two bolt flange scheme from breaking off".
EFC16/T28817. X.3064 - Water pump drain cock with locking device - This has been tested in connection with water pump X.3036. This drain cock has been found satisfactory on test & is recommended for standardisation with the later type of spring instd.

"B"-Scrap and replace at all costs on those engines in Works.
"C"-Scrap present stock and replace on all engines not yet handed to test.
"D"-Use up existing stock. Alteration effective on future engines.
